Started with my grandmother’s recipe box.
Every loaf starts the same way it did in my grandmother’s kitchen: slow fermentation, real butter and nothing we can’t pronounce.
Golden Crust opened in 1998 with four recipes and a single oven. Today we still mill locally, proof overnight and shape every loaf by hand, the same way Rosa’s grandmother taught her in Oaxaca.
